I am always looking for Puch bikes in decent condition. They are fine bikes, not pimped like some Italians ;) Tryed to get this one as white as possible but keep the original style. This is also why I did not change the drop handlebar to a straight one.

Found your Page while searching for PUCH Mistral Leader - Bikes on the net.
Try to get some Spare - bicycleframes.

I like this Bike, the gearing and the color of the chain.

've done something similar with my PUCH Mistral Leader (built: 1986) but modded it as an SingleSpeed. Used this bike the last 2 years as a messenger. The time before a PUCH Mistral (built: 1989) for 2 years.
