I loved this bike when I saw it first at a friends place. Searched for it for quite a while on ebay and was finally lucky. The only way to fix it was the White Industries Eccentric Hub, which is perfect in combination with this bike. The Ziffaro tyres don't have the same blue as the frame, anyone knows tyres that fit better? What I love about this bike is minimalistic look ... and it´s light as hell.
Thinking about taking off the decals, what do you think?

I'd look into some

I'd look into some Schwalbes, if you want to spend some money, or some Michelins. I don't remember what model the michelins are but I bought a pair of red ones that were no more than a tire and they've got a nice color to them,

leave the decals!

Compared to what's made today, they're nicely understated. Frame looks like it's in great shape. Sweet!

Soo I just found a Vitus 979

Soo I just found a Vitus 979 Duralinox for sale.. looking build bike up from scratch. I was wondering if there is anything I should be worried about.. read a couple reviews about frame being a little flexible with possibility of falling apart? any help?
