how'd you get the elite? I thought they only came in 27.2 and the kilo seat tube fits 26.8, at least mine does..?

Brooks tape is waaay more than like 50 bucks. i thought that shit was like 85-90 bucks. but maybe bikes shops around me are ripping kids off. anyway, that would like pretty sick on the wheat frame.

Velo-Orange has leather bar treatments for much less and in shades close to brooks. if theres slight tone difference, i've read that brooks proofide will darken leather.

I actually went that very route : ) It's not a spot on match, but Proofride did indeed make it very similar. I bet that after a couple more months breaking them in, they'll look virtually identical.
