For the longest time I wanted to own a Celeste Bianchi to convert to a single speed or fixed, so when I saw this frame, I jumped on it. I've been through several build phases, but my goal from the start was to use as many Italian components as possible. I'm finally content with the build.

Beautiful celeste Bianchi! I think it might be newer than you think though, I believe they used those decals in the late 90's.

You might be right. The more

You might be right. The more I find out about it, the more it seems like it might not be an 88. The seller told me it was an 88 though. I guess I should ask him why he thought that.

What's the serial number?

That may give you a clue as to the age. It's a Reparto Corsa, so it's an Italian frame, so it's probably engraved on the bottom bracket somewhere.

late 90s

that bike is definitely not from the 80s, it would be lugged.

that fork screams 1998-2001 maybe 10 years old at most
