Saddle is a newer Kobi (I think) and the seat post is adjustable for it, quick release can you believe?
RIght now I don't have pedals on it and the chain is whatever came with a 6 speed drive train.
6 speed with a triple crank in the front and effective EIGHTEEN SPEED! Something that got lots of OOOHHHSS in 1978.
Now HERE is a roadbike. Nice and HEAVY, weighing about 30 pounds (or more)! It was one of my first that I have had SINCE 1978. It has been ridden a lot and still is in pretty good shape. One of these days I'll shine up the rims. They are 700c with 25 tires on them. When I lived out in the west I rode this one time over 50 miles down hilly roads. It was a good bike for it's day, but with modern technology and all it just plain doesn't compare anymore. Now I plan to ride it in parades! A lot of our bike club have antiques for that purpose. This was 0 (I THINK!) when it was brand new in 1978. OR maybe I bought TWO for 0. I can't remember for sure. But my wife has one that is outside getting nasty looking. She has a comfort bike she rides here and there.
