I purchased this frame brand new and never assembled because I had read so many places on Bike Reviews about Aegis. I was curious and my curiosity was satisfied. These frames are built STRONG to last FOREVER. I am impressed with the quality and finish totally. So much that I purchased another frame directly from Aegis and built my 60 CM bike on it. This yellow one is sharp and very fast. The frame weighs about 4 pounds which is "heavy" for a frame today, but I would guess that the extra 1/2 pound it weighs makes it a lot stronger for a big heavy 260 pound rider like myself. I really like the bike and the end result. I ride it a lot and will continue to do so. It has Continental Grand Prix 4000 tires on it at this time. Great bike, great frame. Too bad more folks don't know about Aegis, Hand made in Maine, USA.

Did you know?

The toothbrush was invented in Maine? Any where else it would be called a teethbrush...
