Headset - Cane Creek

Dura Ace hub + Mavic MA2 rim

Suzue hub + Sun rim

Shimano Dura Ace BB + Ultegra crankset

Singlespeed - dual White Industries freewheel on oneside, fixed on the other

Having a Marinoni Piuma geared road bike and loving the ride, I had Marinoni build this Piuma model steel frame with a track drop-outs - and turned it into a fixed/singlespeed road bike. I built it up with a mix of parts from my spare parts bin and used two chainrings and a dual White Industries freewheel on the freewheel side, and a fixed cog on the other side of the wheel. I had them paint it in the Celeste Green.

Nice

I had my on on the dual cog myself, nice. But how do you find the double chainring to be working? I think by this point I would put in shifters et al.

Double Chainring - Shifting.

I usually don't shift during the ride - I change it manually before a ride, depending on whether I am going on a steeper, hilly ride (both inside rings) or a relatively flat one (both outside rings). It makes the hilly ride a bit more bearable - helps me make it up a few steep parts.
