Got an FTP. Check it out. Im building this up as a cruiser currently. Repainted the frame black. Fluted cranks and seatpost, threaded headset and quill stem, cruiser bars, basket, comfy saddle, and the stock Mercier wheelset. When I'm done with the build I'll post it as a seperate bicycle from this one, because essentially it is. The parts on it wont be anything special, but it will be nice to ride around with my girlfriend in the summer.
SOLD
Instead I sold this, got a frame that fit me better and am building it up as a cruiser/beater/rain bike. Check it out.

My daddy dug this bike out

My daddy dug this bike out coursework | coursework help | coursework writing | buy coursework the attic and gave it to me for Christmas. He had bought it for some 20+ years ago because he thought the "high flange hubs looked nice," but he never did anything with it. His only stipulation when he gave it to me was, put a front brake

ehh....its okay. I did a matte clear coat and on the tt it rubs off over time just from your leg rubbing it when you ride. Overall it works okay, not really great though.

i am thinking of a mean, sarcastic, demeaning comment but i...uhh...just can't...umm think of

what the fuck is going on here? did you mount the brake like that because you used to ride a unicycle? this is like getting a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt and instead of just wearing one, you make one that wraps around your ankles just to comply with law. could you not afford the extra lenth of brake cable?

BRAKE

BRAKES on your bike

miche hubs

I just got my new rear wheel laced up with a silver miche hub. The thing is sweet! I highly recommend getting one. If you are having trouble finding one used, they are priced very reasonably new. I got mine from my shop for seventy dollars. You could probably find one for less online. But, in my opinion, you should help out your shop.

I understand not wanting to

I understand not wanting to put a front brake on for aesthetic reasons and only doing so just to avoid legal trouble, but mounting the brake like you have just looks stupid - far worse than it would look if mounted up front.
