Hill Brick track

Shimano RX 100 crankset, shimano BB

ToKen Saddle, Universal seatpost

Shimano DX offroad pedals, Track chain

USA 45t chainring, 15/17t cogs flip hub

This bike has been completely stripped down and rebuild from the ground up. It has been triple powder coated and finished in clear coat.
I kept the original stem and cranks as they are still in good nic, everything else was replaced.
I had to have it acid dipped to remove all the chrome (I did'nt know it was chromed till it was sand blasted and metal fagments started bending up!):P uncool.
Pretty soon i might wack a front brake on it (it gets a bit hairy where i ride.)
Overall beautiful performing bike..

wheelbase??

man this is some crazy ass geo for track... that is the longest friggin wheelbase I've seen on a "true" track frame. Those are 700c's right? Man looking at this bike trips me out. Take a link out or something... get that rear wheel nice and tight and a new fork with less rake and you'll be bangin'

Made for 27" wheels

Long wheelbase is because it was made for 27" wheels. Also looks to be an english track/path frame.

the fork

get a chrome soma lugged fork. It will look similar to yours, be 1" threaded and should be appropriate track rake.

Nice!

The soma lugged track fork looks great not to pricey either. It has alot of rake for track use tho might not handle to well around the roads.
Colnago has a 1" carbon fork looks amazing would be perfect for the street.
Im gonna call (Elite Racing Cycles) tomorrow see what they have, i still might get the soma tho..

fork

The soma lugged track fork has 38mm of rake, which by the looks of it will be less than the colnago fork you have on there now.

brake?

if you put a brake on this bike PLEASE do not drill that fork.get a clamp on brake or swap the fork with a road fork for the street.a colnago staight blade road fork would look great on that frame.very nice bike.

Thanks.

Thanks for the advice i was just goin to drill this fork to fit a brake but a new road fork should be the go.
The Soma lugged fork comes pre drilled but has alot of rake for track use, so i'll look into a good street fork.
i'll be doin endo's again in no time. :P
