'80s Vintage OLMO with complete Galli Gruppo

Your Olmo looks like it is in super condition and is very collectible. It is not the real high end Olmo with all the artwork/pantographing, but all the decals and paint work are sharp. If it is your size keep it and ride it for others to envy. I'm not an expert but, my guess on value is 650-850 based on its condition. Ebay with a 500 reserve is the place to sell! If you have a good old time bike shop owner in your vicinity who knows vintage bikes, he might give you an idea too!

If you are going to ride it, put on the pedals you like. If you are going to just exhibit it, look for some Campy pedals from the era that are in great shape. If you are going to sell it--don't bother with pedals.

back in the day in the euro racing scene galli was good but campy was better. did this mean mechanically, esthetically or by sheer name recognition? not sure, because we didn't mount any galli on our bikes to see for ourselves. i suspect it was equal in the two first but obviously lacking in the last, and therefore ignored.

now today, with vintage campy ebay auctions ending every minute around the clock, but virtually no galli components (or zeus or gipiemme) ever showing up, this bike of yours is, in my eyes, hugely attractive. extremely rare. possibly quite valuable.
