This is my 12-speed Rampar Rapide. Rampar is a lower end division of Raleigh. Made in Taiwan. But still a LBS bike.

I got it in trade with Nate. This was his Grandpa's bike.

I wanted to do something totally opposite of my Schwinn. I took a lot of cues from other bikes that I like but don't have the budget for. Kogswell, Rivendell, Handsome and one of my favorites - the Bridgestone XO-1.

Good to see you gave this bike a second youth, not everybody would be prepared to bring it back to bring it back from the sorry state it was in when you got it. Looks real functional too with the mudguards and flask etc!
