Falcon - 12 speed

Trying to find more information as to original components, sales brocures, anyone who has one presently or rode one in the past. Picked up this bike at a local thrift shop for . I have been trying to date this bike through the web but all I can find is older Falcons pics. My guess as with others is the mid 80's. The Falcon company from what I hear is close to closing and their web site has no contact information.Worth restoring???
