This is my 2006 Surly Long Haul Trucker, built to replace my old Miyata touring bike. This is a do-everything ride, intended to fill my every requirement for commuting, touring, hauling, riding and general car-free living. It gets the vast majority of my riding miles. It rides like a dream - soaks up the bumps, rolls over anything like it's on rails, corners confidently and easily. It's rolling on 1.75" Panaracer T-Servs, which are the perfect tires for this bike. Photo one is most recent, from a trip out to the Berkshires in summer 2007. The brakes have since been replaced with Cane Creek cantis and Tektro levers - Dia-Compe 287-V levers aren't too great.
