This is my 2006 Surly Long Haul Trucker, built to replace my old Miyata touring bike. This is the big hauler and heavy-duty commuting bike, as well as the ride of choice for weekend tours and camping trips. Currently sees the least use of any of my bikes - it's really a bit heavier than I need or want for most of my riding, and I really need to work on the fit. It's still the go-to bike for rainy commutes and any situation that requires a big ol' rear rack. Photo one is most recent, from a trip out to the Berkshires in summer 2007. The brakes have since been replaced with Cane Creek cantis and Tektro levers.
