1988 Cannondale Criterium 3.0 "Black Lightning"

Cannondale/Uknown

Dura-Ace to Mavic

Sansin to Wolber, 7 speed shimano

Shimano 600/Soon to be FSA

Vuelta Tri-Shock/Unknown

Shimano/KMC

52x39 up front, 13x21 in the back. Modolo Edge brakes, Suntour levers.

Nearly all original, but since the suntour gear is on the heavy side I'll be replacing just about all of it with a Shimano 600 group. I am contemplating running it as a 4 or 5 speed, living in Phoenix I don't need any more than that. I love this thing, and I am planning on riding it into the ground!

Check the serno and see if it starts with 88.. I suspect yours may be an 87. My 88 which I have had and is entirely stock has a completely different gruppo which includes the Suntour Sprint line.. I can't remember whether I changed it out or not but it has a Selle San Marco black and gold Rolls saddle. I'll be interested to find out your true year.
