My first roadie. Rebuilt and replaced everything from the ground up, the only thing stock from 1985 is the frame and downtube shifters.

the sr300 was the base road

the sr300 was the base road bike in 85. even for there lowest model mine came w miche hubs qr and pedals, sugino cranks and post, nitto stem, and full suntour cyclone groupo which is pretty damn good compared to todays standards. the 105 groupo you are refering to is probably the model up from my 97 r600

Very nice, my wife has the pink version of that bike, hers doesn't have that nice pearl shine to it though. Was that the model that came with 105?
