1983 Showbike, full ICS Group 18ct gold plated.
ICS of Switzerland refined Campagnolo Groups with highly polished or plated finishs (gold and chrome) and also modified some parts, as -in this group- the derailleurs. Later groups, based on C-Record, had a modified seatpost. The last group they made was based on the eraly 90ies Record.
This bike also sports handlebars, pump and waterbottle mantled with white leather and nice decorative stitching.

feeble breed- Would you really look at a bicycle like this and seriously offer the advise of leaving it as is? My god, I can't wait until this whole "fixie" trend is over and left to the lifers...

hmmm... i was just considering hacking the rd hanger off, adding a flatbar and some kewl surly hubs and converting it to a fixie. So you're trying to say i should't do that?

no no no. i like your components, and i like the bike. never said a thing about going fixed. sorry i dont know the bikes rich history, just saying that its good to go. geez. but i do think i'd make one change now: the rider.

don't worry, that bike in that condition as on the pictures has been gracing my livingroom wall for years now (when i'm not riding it) and that will remain that way :)
