This is the end-all of racing mountain bikes as far as I'm concerned. 19.5 lbs. Super fast in the singletrack. Nimble. Stiff. FAST. Diamondback had a great rep in the 90's for mountain bike racing and this bike the result of all the top name riders and winning races. Not as smooth as my Axis Ti, but faster and a better climber. I've raced many times on this and it is always my go-to on fast training rides or races.
I have 3 Team Issues - this one that I've had since late 1998, another I just picked up for my fiancee last December off Ebay, and a 3rd that is hanging out as a frame that I haven't had a chance to build yet. They will all be listed sometime soon.
