I built this one for my 24 mile commute to work. The rack uses custom made mounting brackets that fit to the rear skewer. Otherwise, the bike is a hodgepodge of nice components that are strong enough for commuting. Tires are Conti Ultragators with Mr Tuffy liners (no flats since they were installed!). 99% of the time this bike has a rack trunk with fold down panniers so I can carry lunch, clothes, whatever. I love the Drop-in handlebar- it gives me a lot more room for all my lights and extras, plus it's super comfy for the 7:30 am headwinds I get on the way to work. This bike is strong, light (24lbs as it's shown) and above all, reliable.
