Paid 35 bucks for it in '87, all chrome, fenders and all. Originally had a red and white seat. Nobody who saw it had any idea what it was. Recently I searched the web and found a '63 Murray catalog, and there it was. The chain guard was a perfect match. In the years I’ve had it, it's been ridden, then stored in sheds and garages, then brought back to life. This time I replaced the wheels, pedals and chain and restored the fork tips with wagon red paint bomb. Missouri where I live is full of gravel bike paths, smooth and level. With the 45 inch wheelbase it is smooth, quiet and comfortable enough for 20 mile rides. I'm 5'6" -- fits me great! Hat tip to Karl at Klunk Bicycles.

Thanks for the compliments,

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

Yes, I run the MKT and Katy on the Murray, and sometimes ride it around town. I like the old cruiser geometry. If I see somebody come riding out of a drain, I'll know it's you!

Purty!

This is pretty chill, I bet you have so much fun on this. Ride the MKT much?

Ride in DRAINS!

PS, yeah, Klunk's is rad.

Sweet...

Such a tasteful rehab. Nice job.
