42/16 (2.625) for the hills of San Francisco -

This is my 5th, and nicest, converted road bike. I'm really happy with the way it turned out, especially the old-school decals. Thinking about losing the light blue Ourys in favor of grips and tires to match the darker blue seat, but too matchy-matchy? I don't know. Anyway, it's light & stiff steel, classy & comfy. Perfect for commuting in the city with the low gear ratio and front brake.

I've just added this...

...to the Bianchi di celeste cluster.

White grips or bartape is the classic, although it's hard to keep clean. You can also find celeste ones. Or maybe something really attention-grabbing, like orange or lemon yellow?

It's a good bike for the City, though; as long as you can keep it out of the hands of the ne'er-do-wells. I'm in Berkeley, which is nearly as bad when it comes to theivin'.

You don't see mirrored photos that often these days...

thx...

for adding me to the celeste cluster.
FYI, it's now brakeless w/ white tape on drops, and it looks SOOOOOO GOOOD.
