?

I bought this bike from my friend Tom about 15 years ago. Used it almost every day untill the paint rotted off. The old fenders and rack died and fell off. It sat for 2 winters in Portland Oregon before I decided to do a total, down to the frame, do over. Fenders are new aluminum, painted and pinstriped by me. I dropped it down to 26 x 1.75 tires for a smoother ride. These are oldschool, brick road, tred type I bought them from bicycleheaven on e-bay. I replaced the handlebars with the vintage corvette bars. The old bars were rusted through. The front struts came off an old JC Higgins I found in the trash behind a thrift store. The rear rack is a Columbia reproduction. This bike rides like a million bucks. Smooth and clean and weighs 50 or 60 lbs.
