Frame purchased at the Benotto factory near Xola station in Mexico City, October 31, 1989 for the equivalent of $ 295 US. Actively campaigned in masters track races 1991-94; used as a second track bike 1995. Drilled for rear brake and used on the road since Fall, 2007. Currently has over 17,000 km. Has Schwinn decals because I like old Schwinns and because I don't have Benotto stickers.
