Obviously a work in progress.
I just moved to Eugene, OR where bikes are not only more common than cars in some places, but also stolen more than anywhere else. Decided to use some parts I have been meaning to get rid of to rebuild my 64 year-old mother's Raleigh (which she won in a raffle if memory serves) for extreme (read: cheap) commuting. I'm trying to spend as little on the thing as I can, but I threw away the seat/post, plus I'm going to need a chain tensioner, and I think the wheels are going to take a big shit really soon.
Very heavy.
