fat welds, an extra stiffener beam from the seat tube to the seat stays, the chain stays are swagged, the connection between seat tube& chain stay (so, above bb region) is braced with a gusset, and stainless steel inserts in the drop outs. I love this bike, it is so light & stiff. The flat down tube reminds me of the PK rippers my friends had as kids.
