Was this a single speed or did you grind off the shift cable brackets from above the bottom bracket?

Reverse Pressure

It's a fixed Gear my friend! You stop by either locking up the rear wheel....kinda tricky...or you simply apply reverse pressure. you can put a front brake on if you wish.

I'm pretty sure he understands...

the concept of stopping a fixed gear bike. look at his profile, its hard to ride track without knowing how. i am more concerned that you don't know how to ride fixed. no brakes and flats is ridiculous. there is no way in hell you can lock up 46/14 or even slow it in a reasonable amount of time with out toe clips or clipless pedals.

Yes. Yes. 46/14 is way too tough to lock up w/o clips....I just haven't changed the rear cog yet...the 14T came with the wheel setup..
