48/16

For the most part the bike is stock except for the new cog, tires, and bars/grips. Here is the list of things I'm adding to the bike:

Sugino 75 track cranks.
Aerospoke front wheel.
Weinmann Deep-V rear wheel laced to a Phil Wood high flange track hub.
Thompson stem.
A new headset (doesn't matter what kind as long as it's sealed...unlike the stock one).
Head tube extender for more bar spin clearance.

If your Kilo TT came with a TruVativ Touro 48t how can the gearing be 46/16? Also, you need to do something about that steerer tube... like cut it shorter. Unless that's the way the headset is supposed to look?!

Whoops!

That's a typo. And yes I agree the tube is way too long. This is something I'm going to fix in the weeks to come when I have the time. Thanks for the heads up!

Say what say what what.

No hate at all, but your going to put an Aerospoke front wheel? That means your front wheel is gonna cost more than the entire bike!!! Also Weinmanns to Phil Woods!!! Come on your mixing a lot of high end parts with low-end parts. Once again just my 2 cents.

I agree...

The Aerospoke may not be suiting for this bike...and it certainly costs as much as my bike...but its a universal wheel. I'll be able to put it on any bike I get from here on out (Ideally a Pista concept much like yours). As for the Weinmann/Phil Wood mix and match I don't see a problem with it. Weinmanns are good wheels and they're affordable. I can always upgrade! I appreciate your 2 cents though!

i agree. if youre going

i agree. if youre going high-end hubs, you cant cheap out on rims!
