Kirk's Schwinn Lil Tiger

I learned to ride on this kind of bike at age 5 or 6 (1969/1970). I still remember how it felt the evening I finally rode without training wheels. It was a little gold Schwinn Lil Tiger just like this. Later, two of my nieces learned to ride on it. My sister/brother-in-law fixed it up and delivered it to me just before my first son was born. My own kids were using it until just a few years ago, it was stolen. I then found this red one from a collector on ebay. I enjoyed putting all the parts together with my kids. I'm reliving my memories and having fun sharing it. Aliya (daughter) told her brothers after taking too long of a turn: "I'm having a long turn because this bike makes me so happy!" Fixed gear bikes are great fun for all ages.

This bike is dedicated to all of our first 2-wheeled memories.
