Took me fixie round Gypsies Green Track in south shields on the weekend. The track is asphalt and exactly 5 laps to the mile 401m in length This was the venue of Janine McGregor's 11.5 100 on 15 May 1977 which is in the UK all-time list. The track is rather dilapidated these days but still good fun!.
