they're super cheap kenda cross tires, 700 x 35mm. I got them for .18 at the university bike shop. I think you can find them at biketiresdirect.com for or so.

sure is. i don't think i'll be racing cross with it until i get a freewheel, though. should be great in the winter with the chainguard so i don't have to roll my pants up in the cold.
