The frame and Campag Athena brake calipers were brought off TradeMe (NZebay)in 2007 and built up by Christmas. The frame sat in a bike shop in Christchurch, New Zealand unbuilt for many years until being put up for auction. As far as BJ Cycles can determine it's early 80's. It now does commuting duty, on fine days, 8km to the office. Am I allowed to say brakes? Tektro R200 levers stop Athena calipers.

What a wonderful balance and mix of styles. The slick Athenas, the Brooks saddle and that wonderful chocolate leather handlebar wrap--how nicely it all comes together. Enjoy the ride.

Miche stuff

The Miche Supertype seat post is my fav part but the BB and crank are beatuifully finished too! I couldn't have asked for a better match with the Athena calipers.
