This bike started as the Schwinn Le Tour that I later turned into a singlespeed (see my bikes). My girlfriend's roommate found it at a yard sale and knew my girlfriend was looking for a road bike to ride with me so she went ahead and bought it for her. Unfortunately the Schwinn is a 58 cm which is a (little bit...) too big for Katherine. So we acquired a new frame (49cm) and fork (the Schwinn fork's threads ended too high up the fork to work on the new frame). The frame wasn't built for the downtube shifters that we already had on the Le Tour so I bought some old Shimano 105 STI shifters and derailleur from my little brother (as well as the stem and one of the wheels). The bike also doesn't have cable routing stuff for the derailleurs welded to the top tube so for now the cable housing is ziptied to the frame. I do have a cable stop that will bolt on to the frame but there is another problem: the cable stop for the rear derailleur is on the top of the chainstay, not the bottom. Also there is no hole on the bottom of the bottom bracket housing to bolt a cable router to. I found out those two things are because this bike is old enough that the cable routing clamped on to the seat tube above the bottom bracket housing and was routed down the top of the chainstay. If you have any idea where I can get this type of bolt on cable routing please let me know. Thanks :-D.

Also if you have any clever ideas on how to find out who made this frame, I would love to give them a try :).
