That's a slick ride! What do you think of the 08? That's what I was looking for but, all I could find on short notice in Chicago was the 07. It had a bit too much flex for my fat a$$. I ended up going with the KHS cuz it seemed to support my large stature a bit better.

Nice work on the e-brake.

I've been looking into the GranCompe SS's for my shxt. How are they holding up for ya? I've heard they are pretty easy to go thru on the backside what with the skids n skips n such.

Gran Compe

The Gran Compe's are holing up well, and theres quite a few hills in my area. The Kevlar bead adds a little bit of help. A friend got the Zaffiro's in all whtie the same time I got my GC's, he's already torn through his rear tire, and mine is still good.

i tore through my rear gran compe in less than week. such a bummer, they looked so nice too. not recommended if you skid to stop.

So far, so good with the Fuji. I tip the scales at 215, and it's holing up good. I got lucky and saw it instock at a shop, and he didnt know what he had, so I haggled him a bit got a deal and I took it home.

I heard from a friend that Fuji is rolling out the 09's early because they sold out of all the mid-range sizes. Basically, the only sizes in stock at Fuji are the small one or the super big one. I'm curious to see what the new 09's look like.

Good to hear on the deal! All I got with my Flite was a set of clips and straps. I still didn't complain. I'm a sucker.

All the shops around that carried em' told me they were sold out of the 08's for good. Good for Fuji on the early release!
