My missing two-wheeled lover.

Bike was stolen this thursday afternoon, june 26th from the locked inner tenant basement of my apartment building between 12:15 (noon) and 10 pm. in Chicago while the girls in the retail space below (a vintage clothing store, that as it turned out, wasn't really selling vintage clothing...) were being evicted for their various violations of their commercial lease, illegal doings and disturbances once the landlord found out what was really going on.

As it was last seen:
A surly modified for my height
(Part of the reason I dearly want this back: it was very difficult to find a frame that
fit my frame. I'm a tall girl with long legs and a short torso. My pant inseam is 36-37 inches if that
helps gauge the standover on a found bike sighting...)
-A steep 59cm frame size with fairly short reach, unusually short stem and smaller than normal handlebars for a typical
men's bike
(model has no braze-ons/ welded joints )
-A CroMo frame: Gunmetal grey color
-single speed flip-flop fixed gear
-large caliper u-type brakes. Brake levers are hood mounted.
-mavic wheels
-tan leather brooks saddle
-tan leather handlebar tape (with a long deep scratch on the left side from the license-less driver who
hit me last October)
-gear ratio at time was somewhat higher than normal
-light pink platform type eggbeater pedals- crank brothers candy's (old team pedals)... sad.

*Differs from the attached (old) pictures in that most the decals were removed last year and the decal on the top tube was covered with black electrical tape. The metal emblem on the front should still be there. I didn't have enough upper body strength to remove it.
Crank arm should still have it's decal.

I finally had a bike that really fit me, and some of the components had been given to my by a friend who was later killed, so the loss just makes me kind of nausious.

I'm pretty irked at the girls/their friends, and really mad about the loss of my bike for a number of personal reasons as well as the simple fact that it was taken by a neighbor whom I had never wronged. That just hurts.

Please excuse the crappy outdated cell phone pictures.
Will add more information when i am not so mad.
Any advice is appreciated! (Does anyone know the 4 or 5 girls who used to run the fat rabbit vintage store and their friends?)

Tip offs leading to the return will be rewarded with cash and whatever you wish for me to bake for you.
Thank you!
