That seat looks brutally

That seat looks brutally painful. Love the bike though, especially the hed3

i dont get

why people always put HED3's on their front with some wheel worth 1/4 in back. Don't you want the HED3 in back since it is stiffer. All your weight is on the rear wheel and having a stiffer rear wheel helps with acceleration.

Hed3 Rear

It will also throw that wheel out of true quicker.

lovin the

obama sticker on the rear
whered you get it lol

I really...

like the look of trispokes on the rear.

How long have you been

How long have you been rolling with HED on the back? How much do you weigh? I'm interested in getting one for the back as i don't want the weight of the Aerospoke (have one on the front, but plan to change out soon).

I'm sure Philly streets might be a bit more forgiving than some here in NYC. Don't wanna drop that much dough and have it crack. I know the HED's are pretty strong, but never saw road use out of a rear one.

Nice ride btw. And Deep V's suck real bad in the wind.

Its not a hed3

Know your wheels

I don't know much about the

I don't know much about the quality of New York roads. I've only been on the street in a few Brooklyn neighborhoods. Philly has a reputation for its high concentration of barely-navigable wagon trails. It's just a matter of familiarization and avoidance. Weighing 135 is helpful.

Brooklyn streets for the

Brooklyn streets for the most part are medium to ok as far as being paved and smooth. But they may be better then philly roads now that you say that.

Manhattan is getting better. Lots of repaving happening so I guess I'd be OK. Although I weigh a lot more than you.
