An old friend gave me this bike and I am in the process of restoration. These are the photos of how I got it. I found the original wheels (not in photo). I also have the original Mavic rear rim, but it is dented. I may do a fixie conversion.

Looks a PX-10 from here Kitty. Why do you think not?
I too am looking for a PX-10 for fixie conversion. I'd like to find a raw frame so I wouldnt feel bad about ditching original equipment.
What size is this one? If the rims and hardware are junk then yeah, junk them and fixie that bad boy.

DON’T muck it up Kerry!! PLEASE, LEAVE IT ALONE or RESTORE IT!

If you want a fixie, take that classic to a real bike shop where you could likely trade it for something else to build a fixie out of. Or put a add in the paper or online to sell it AS-IS.

Please, you wouldn’t build a dune buggy out of a classic corvette, would you?
