I'm riding the bike stock for the time being because it was a gift from my parents and I don't feel comfortable tearing it down [yet]. I do have plans for a project bike over the summer, though, based on this one's geometry... On second thought, maybe a set of deep v's, some different bars and some clipless pedals might make it better.

Update: the front wheel got bent when I flipped over the other night, and the manufacturer won't honor the warranty, so I ordered a replacement. The bruise was courtesy of the flip-over

Further update: For those who aren't aware, the manufacturer of the Motobecane is the source of a lot of bike frames. Look closely... the Moto is really a generic Schwinn Maddison/Fuji Track.

Ouch! I didn't know it was that bad. Hope you are off to a speedy recovery.

Yeah, it just looks bad.

Thats funny......

Why would you leave a dick comment like that? Not everyone can afford a custom, big $$$ fixed gear. People like you should be banned from this site. Its about the love of riding...not what you ride. Bet you wouldnt have the guts to say that to his face if you saw him riding his bike on the street. Internet coward.

Haha, I figured it was a slight against the bike, but I really don't care. It rides hard and fast, and it gets me where I'm going, which is all I can really ask for.

I'm actually gonna try building a bamboo bike this summer, figure that'd be fun.
