This evening, while walking around a residential area waiting for my son's baseball games, I saw far away this bike on the curbside with the garbage. Approaching and asking the house owner the reason of abandoning, I was told, "this is my son's girlfriend's, sitting there for three years, take it, take it." Then I walked the bike to a nearby gas station to pump up air to both tires and rode back to him showing off what a good ride it was. He was so very happy to see me find it useful and even said, "wait a minute", going back to his backyard, took out a can of WD-40 and sprayed all over the moving parts! What a friendly service!

I happened to have a camera with me and took this one right outside of the baseball court...

As quoted... "Known as "the can with thousands of uses," WD-40® protects metal from rust and corrosion, penetrates stuck parts, displaces moisture, and lubricates just about anything. WD-40 is also great when it comes to cleaning grease, grime, and other marks from most surfaces".
