2005 ~59mm bianchi pista

nitto ui 100mm, nitto risers chopped 1" off each side

stock fork, cane creek roller bearing 1" threadless, no spacers

weinmann blue machined, 700x26mm blue tires

see front

miche primato 144bcd, shimano BB

cheapo alloy post, cheapo blue saddle

mks light (silver), blue mks lite chain 1/8

47/17 all silver/cheap. 47/17 for ~34 skidpatches

frame was supposed to be a 57 but it definitely rides, measures, and feels bigger. saddle pretty far down resulting in a pretty upright position, but it rides WAY nicer than my black conversion fixed gear. green grips and chopped flat bars are now blue on chopped nitto risers. i used soy-based paint remover to remove the clearcoat and bianchi logos. left on the headbadge, "no brakes" and the "chick-made" logos. it can do barspins! a bunch of toeverlap even in medium toe clips; doesn't bother me.

hey, how hard is it to

hey, how hard is it to de-sticker a pista?

de-sticker

i used this:
http://www.soysolvents.com/Contact/soygel/soygel.html
put it on just where the decals are, because it has to strip off the clear coat that is over the decals as well as the decals themselves. i put a layer on, put some plastic over that and let it sit overnight. they just wiped off. took two applications or so to get all that i wanted off.

Nice spoke cards,

Nice spoke cards, yeah!

What's the model of those rims? I could only find Weinmann dp 18s in aluminum and black, non-machined.

they are weinmanns

there are a couple companies on ebay that sell them built up really cheap. usually they are black spokes/hubs. silver hub/spokes pop up regularly too.

obama

political spoke cards rule. I like it better with the blue grips...
good rain ride yesterday.

blue grips are way better

i like the blue grips more too. just don't have any pics of it yet. i just put the stem below the spacers so i'm not in such a straight up riding position.
