This is a Pinarello Montello from about 1992 (or 1993) with mostly original parts. The decals were starting to flake off, which I hear is common, so I removed them. Check out the Campagnolo Delta C brakes! Except for the wheels and pedals, everything is Italian made. One of the things that makes this bike extra rare is that it came with both Ergo shifter/brake levers, introduced in 1992, and Delta brakes, discontinued in 1993.

Nice

Decals are readily available, though Pinarello put it's art into the metal, not the stickers, eh? I dig the Delta's, saw some on eBay, but stuck with the Chorus.

May want to take a look at the Pinarello cluster, several others out there. Mine be Red.

Again, great bike, thanks for sharing.

thanks for the comment

I like the way you have your red Pinarello set up. That's a really sharp looking bike. I did a little more reach and I think my bike is either a 92 or 93, not 91 as stated earlier. It's probably about a year newer than yours. Your bike looks really similar but has the chrome fork which ran from the 80s to early 90s sometime.

Pin

You and musclanis and Zephyrus have all got me seriously thinking about going ergo-style.
