Howard Dean: Single Speed Trek

Howard Dean's my only bike. Used for a 28 mile (round trip) commute each day, recreational riding, and whatever else I feel like doing. This bike feels incredible, I promise.

I bought this bike for about 0 with all brand new Shimano 105 components (brakes, crankset, shifters, derailleurs). The rims it came with recently blew out so I built up these Velocity rims using the Sansin hubs it already had. At this point I decided to simply convert to single speed since I had owned the bike for 6 months and never changed gears.
