Norco Monterey 1985

Salvaged from a curb side a week ago on my way riding home in a residential area where I passed by every summer for the past two years. Spoke to the owner and the reason he abandoned it was the broken left pedal, and "Costco has bicycles on sale".

I replaced it all by myself with a petal from an old stationary bike, and now, hehehe... it looks and rides like a charm.

Still there is the original painting but imperfection is perfection and I am not going to repaint.

I am very impressed with this Norco (a Canadian brand) that is over 23 years old but still so slick, so butter-smooth, so fun to ride.

If I had driven a car to work that day I would never have such a luck... imagine that!
