circa 1967 Astra, a re-badged Motobecane. French threading. Nervex lugs. Lotta patina/chips on teal/white paint.
both TTT with Cane Creek 'cross lever and Fizik soft wrap.
Motobecane 700c (apparently) fork w/ mixed Peugeot/Motobecane headset-- 'cos that's what it took...
Weinmann LP18 27 x 1 w/ IRC Triathlon KV belted rubber, ??alloy front hub w/ QR
Rims, tires-- same, w/ Formula hub
Stronglight 93 track cranks 165mm on a Campy nuovo 112mm with Nervar cups. Ridiculous
Selle Italia Turbo w/ anonymous alloy post, both well beaten.
MKS Sylvans

Hate me because I'm beautiful, not because I'm a trashy, expensive, inconvenient French minx.
I took this picture of her in the bathroom because I don't have a doghouse.

OK, now that the Peugeot's sold I put half the money back into this to get it done. I like her. The non-original Motobecane fork, must be a 700c for this 27" frame, it brings everything in nice up close and tight, with a generous chunk of toe overlap. Of course I rely on a front brake, but I hope the French-thread bottom bracket holds up under fixed gear use.
