just waiting for some handlebar wrap from velo-orange, and the wheel build to get finished, and this will be one smokin' ride. got the frame for free from a guy i work with, and figured my girlfriend had to have a cute bike so we could ride together. we're so darn cute.

lever

if that's a cross stop lever (which it looks like) you should flip the cable to the other side. it would look way better.

paint

what did you use to paint it?

heyy, this is super rad, couple q's

for starters, what size is it, it looks like a pretty tall frame. I'm guessing about a 58-60, but my buddy evan thinks larger.
second, did you use the origional 10 speed hub and just put a single speed chain on it? Clever, but I'd reccommend getting new wheels, and third, how'd you paint it?

Thanks
-k

yeah, it's a pretty big

yeah, it's a pretty big frame... about the same size as my 56 schwinn, but i haven't measured. currently using the original wheelset as a singlespeed with a massive gear cluster, just waiting for the new wheelset to get finished at the lbs. powdercoated the frame at olympic in santa ana.

Not pink?

Go for it w/the technicolor, Nishiki frames ride nice. Does she like the horns, or is it your choice. I can't get mine to accept horns, but I'm sure she'd be more comfortable.....

the horns were all her.

the horns were all her. she's got long arms, so she likes being able to stretch out without leaning forward like with drops.

horns

I think I'll tell mine her butt doesn't stick up as much with the horns.....not that that's a problem.
