Took to it with a grinder and media paper to smooth away the braze-ons, bottom bracket derailer, accessory mounts on both forks, bottle mounts, shifter mounts,and brake mounts. Powder coated.

great work, props on grinding the braze-ons.

yeah man thanks...it's hard

yeah man thanks...it's hard not to feel anal about gettin those things totally off...it looks like a mess when you finish the grinding/filing/sanding...but the powder coat fills in really well. If i were to do it again, i'd probably just use metal files all the way, for fear of chunkin the frame with the grinder bit.
