84 Olympics

USSR national team did not participate in 84 Olympics. The USA boycott Moscow Olympics (1980), and the USSR boycott LA Olympics (1984)
Sorry dude!

...but nice looking bike nevertheless. I remember Rekords were super heavy. It will last you forever. they were built to last.

Def. friended!

hey

thanks for the info, someone told me thay were used for olympic training. could they still have been used for training in a future olympic games back then. the frame quality does'nt seem like olympic training quality, maybe just for velodrome training for beginners?

1986

my info tells me they were made in 86. but then again i have a blue one so maybe the gold and blue were different years.

only in 86' ?

only in 86?

70's

i might be wrong on this, but i think i have seen some Rekord frames that were made in 70's. head tube lugs look sooo 70's or even 60's

ebay?

is that one of those made in the USSR ebay frames?
how does it ride?

ebay special

yes. it was bought about a year ago by a friend of mine thru ebay and i bought it from him. they are a little heavy (about 20 lbs /complete bike) and the welds are pretty cruddy looking, but its stiff and it has cool decals.
