I'm full of cornbread right now so I'm even too lazy to search for an old thread but we had one going with advice for new riders a couple weeks ago. That one had some decent nuggets in it.
Sticky would be a great idea. We should also delete our own posts from this thread once they either get added to the parent or ignored for being silly just to keep it nice and lean.

hmm yea i guess. also u could add my new one, new to fixed? come here

Thanks, I figured something like this would ease the frustration on both ends.

When I get back from work I shall fix the links, if you got a suggestion for another topic for threads, or if you know of a good one just tell me and I will add...

CAQ: why are my pictures turning up tiny on velo? once i shrink to 250kb the picture is ridiculously small. I know the pictures can get larger but how?

How are you shrinking them? I usually upload the picture from my computer to photobucket, resize it to something reasonable, right click and save it to the desktop, then upload it to velospace. 9/10 times it comes out under 250kb and plenty big enough.

    resizing websites. ill try photobucket
