whats your guys favorite bike ride. it can be a group ride or just a route your made and ride often.

my favorite ride is about 30 to 40 miles of trees and rolling hills that rides by a old civil war battle field and into a small town at the turn around point. the roads are curvy and some what smooth and the area is a favorite for bicyclists.

Every day I ride the Cherry Creek bike trail to work in the morning. I usually leave at like 6am when the air is crisp and the sun's just starting to show it's face. The trail cuts right through downtown Denver but like 30ft below the city streets. There's almost nobody out at that hour and it's just pleasant as can be. Unfortunately it's only about a ten mile ride so it's over way too soon but my "commute" to work is honestly one of the nicest parts of my day.
The ride home is fine but it's way hotter out at that point and the trail gets hella crowded so I usually just skip it and ride through downtown.

Jay, your right, the Cherry Creek trail rocks. I ride it almost every day. My ride to work is pretty fun too, I have a few routs I take through the Cap Hill, Washington Park, Harvard Gulch area. Plus some of the roads I use are getting resurfaced(Kind of a pain now, but in a week it will be the tits).

Lately me and my friend have been taking this road that goes around the back of my town and it has many challenging up hills and long downhills.

i also ride the iron horse trail to my downtown area and chill at a bike shop or whatever

Oh yeah the Wash Park run is fun too. Especially dead late at night when the sprinklers are on and the lights kinda suck. Love that ride.
I just sent my saddle off for a trade with a kid so I'm off the bike for like two days but when I get his in the mail imma hit you up to go ride foo!

My ride home after work. In the morning, it's mostly up hills for about 20 miles. On the way home, flats and downhills. Chill...

I live in Bellingham Washington and my favorite ride starts at my house wich is at 90' in alt up to Sunset dr. on to Mt. Baker Highway up to Artist Point. From my house Artist Point is about 57 miles so round trip it's about 114 miles. The climb up to Artist Point is 10 miles of 6% grade. I like this ride because it allows me to finish where I started and includes a 2 mile 7% hill along with rolling hills and a decent climb in the middle.

I use the Delorme map software. This gives me Accurate grades of hills and accurate distances... That's how I learned about the Artist Point climb wich culminates at about 5,100 feet. I like to use this software to make the little waterproof map cards you can put in your jersey pocket wich gives you the stats of your ride just like the pros. These come in real handy.

When I was an illegal immigrant living in Seattle about 4 years ago I used to love escaping the U District by riding the Burke-Gillman trail, I miss it, I wish I'd ridden it more and I wish to ride it again someday.... for now and the last few years it's the Dublin coastal suburbs, very relaxing if any of you've ever had the pleasure.

i ride the kelly drive path (past boathouse row) to falls bridge, cross, then return on west river drive. I also enjoy a jaunt through center city in rush hour traffic. doesn't get much more fun than that.

A new section of trail was just finished a month or so back and I rode on it for the first time today. It's gorgeous. It's on an old, elevated train line, which means you can see all sorts of beautiful stuff you couldn't see before — little ponds, a large park (where the cyclocross was this weekend), and all sorts of glorious green. It means I can now get a 32 mile ride in without leaving the bike trail, but for a mile getting to it.

The new section is a 5% grade with no cross streets for a couple of miles, too. I'm excited to try that out from this direction. I think there might be some ass-hauling.

i just found out that my greenway trail has a huge hidden ,open spot or spots in the woods where it appears a group of people who like keystone light like to have partys and make bon fires.

I would love to experience some real nature but I dont get that in mexico city. The concrete jungle is amazing once a week though. I have one class at 7am, so when I get out the door around 610am, the streets are nearly empty, and its still kind of dark out. Riding through a main city street with the little fresh air left, few cars, and almost all green lights is amazing. Its the most relaxing part of my week. I get to class and have no need for coffee. Its an amazing feeling to have some adrenaline during social choice theory when no one else does
