General: Suntour chainrings proprietary?

    Bought some Suntour Superbe Pro cranks used the other day... do I have to use a Suntour chianring, or will any 144BCD ring work? I am not sure how proprietary or finicky chainrings are between different brands.

    Dunno but I bought a set of Suntour cranks recently with matching chain ring and I love them, really nice

    you can use any 144bcd chainring. I use Sugino Mighty Comp on my SSPs

    great thanks guys. I was also wondering about what BB to use. the guy said he was using a Sugino 75 BB, should i just stick with one of those?

    you can use any 144 ring.

    as for the bb, you should hae a few options for an iso bb, sugino75bb, hatta, campy, phil, een miche.
