I am about to purchase a 1971 VW hippie bus and a bunch of my buddies are going to paint it. I want one of the sides to be bicycle related so I thought I'd get some ideas from all of you. Anyone have any cool ideas?

Her name is going to be Scarlet. I might paint the sky yellow and the sun blue. : ) Deadheads? -

Technically a '71 Bus isn't a hippie bus..... but if done right it could be really cool. -

If you really wanna do this thing right you need to have someone airbrush a wizard riding a white trackbike like a goddamn unicorn. Front peace sign aerosp0k all up in the air and lightning shooting from his fingertips. Dude I'd cry happy tears everytime I saw that rollin down colfax. -

Yeah I dunno... you don't want anything too silly. What about the words 'ride with me or collide with me' down the side of the bus below a mural featuring a bunch of six-shooter-toting-bandolier-wearing gangsters (a la the bad guys from the Three Amigos) looking tough while posing on fluro fixies? You know... something classy. -

Just spray paint it flat black, throw on some gold aerospoke spinners, and put some aero bars on the steering wheel. -

paint it like a bike lane with that white stick figure bicycle and bicyclist. Maybe with a green background? -

May I suggest a full length roof rack strong enough to stand on, with a bike rack, and a ladder. -

it'd be pretty trippy if you did up the one side like a nintendo (maybe even sega) video game interface of a horse racing game but have everyone on a bike instead...and i do agree with that dope ass wizard idea.
