haha i like the jesus spoke card idea. i hate locking up somewhere and feeling paranoid to the point that you have to check every 10 minutes to make sure your bike is still how you left it. Thieves steal your peace of mind as well as your belongings. a damn shame.
  5.
yeahh my bike goes where ever i go i only lock it up when i go to school and there is a pretty nice camera in front of the bike rack so i have some piece of mind and ill put a jesus spoke card just incase lol
  6.
Yeah I don't lock up at work or anywhere I'm gonna be for a while but sometimes you gotta keep 'er outside.

Bike thieves are scum and I don't feel the least bit bad about knockin some fucker's teeth out of his head for makin a go at like the one material possession in the world I give a shit about.

I think seeing a jesus spoke card would give me more incentive to steal, or atleast trash a bike.
  7.
Yeah, you're assuming that all thieves are Christian, and not the variety that resents it.

A spoke card that says, "Please don't steal my bike. I made it." seems more effective.
  8.
Does a Jesus card on a bike you steel mean you’ll be forgiven?

Ok, I’ll hold one in each hand as I beat the crap out of the thief if I catch them!

There's a special circle in hell for the kind of person that steals, damages, and or screws with another woman/man's bike. When caught in said act of stealing, damaging and or screwing with another man/woman's bike a mandatory community beatdown should be accepted into society as normal. Double for a bike with a spoke card that reads "Please don't steal my bike. I made it," or Jesus.

It's ok to steal from him because he makes decent money? I make a decent wage at an IT desk job... does that mean it's permissible for you to steal my bike(s)? Get over yourself robin hood...

I'm a huge supporter of u-lock justice. If I ever saw someone who appeared to be stealing a bike, I would stop and inquire wtf they were doing, and/or beat them with my lock or chain whip if I knew for sure they were up to no good.

I suppose I'm fortunate for living in Houston in at least one way, since bike theft is very rare here. I still rarely lock up my bike though, taking it in with me where ever I go, but use a fat cable lock with a separate pad-lock and a u-lock when I do.

it seems like bikes are getting stolen 1+ a week here in phx/tempe. it's sad, times are tough and people are desperate. i too know where i can take my bike inside and take advantage.
  11.
Luckily, my work has a two or three cameras that can see the bike racks.
Plus, who is going to go to an elementary school playground in the middle of suburbia in search of some awesome bike parts to steal?

Even so, it would be nice to be able to hide it away inside.

Don't be a jerk. A solid income is no excuse to steal from someone.
